A FAMILY HISTORY
The connection between Cotarella family and the world of wine started in the 1960s, when Antonio and Domenico Cotarella, winemakers in Monterubiaglio, built the firs winery for the production of their own wine in this small Umbrian village.
The brothers Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella, both enologists grew up in a land of long wine traditions, on the border between Lazio and Umbria, driven by the passion of their father Domenico, founded in 1979 Falesco Winery, turning what was a small family business into a successful business to be left to later generations.
The investments made over the years have undoubtedly been of great magnitude, but today, after more than thirty years, can be considered amply rewarded, especially in terms of affection. In fact, the daughters Dominga, Marta and Enrica work inside the winery all together, having the same enthusiasm and involvement of their fathers. The fourth generation of grandchildren, then, suggests a future just as important for the brand Falesco.
