Tasting notes: Intense, bright ruby red, dominated by garnet tints. Bouquet of ripe plum, mulberries and black forest fruits with hints of tobacco, leather and spices. The first taste on the palate is mellow yet bold. The grape’s typical dense, elegant tannins are pleasantly blended with the softer tannins of wood, offering a consistent flavour full of character, with perfectly balanced acidity that fades into a long, lingering, tasty finish.
